Taylor Swift has released the tracklist for her next album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which will include duets with Paramore and Fall Out Boy’s Hayley Williams.
Williams will appear on “Castles Crumbling,” while Fall Out Boy will appear on “Electric Touch.”
“I’m VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version), including vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams from @paramore and @falloutboy,” Swift said on Twitter. “Because Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I went to the artists who I felt influenced me the most as a lyricist at the time and asked them to sing on the album.” They’re very nice and generous to sponsor my version of Speak Now. I made this album when I was 32 (and I’m still growing up today), and I can’t wait to share it with you on July 7th.”
Swift brought Williams on stage during the Nashville stop of her “Speak Now World Tour” in September 2011 to play Paramore’s smash “That’s What You Get.” The band opened for Swift earlier this year on the opening dates of her “Eras Tour,” which she described as a “dream come true” in an interview with Billboard.
“We came up alongside each other as Nashville teenagers writing our own music, so it feels insanely special to kick off the tour together nearly two decades later,” Swift added. “I just remember constantly being floored and inspired by their writing, originality, and artistic integrity.”
