Due to vocal problems, Sam Smith ends his Manchester performance after four songs.

Sam Smith – The singer is “honestly heartbroken” by the physician’s instructions to skip a few performances.

At their May 24 concert in Manchester, UK, Sam Smith left the stage after just four songs due to voice issues, according to Billboard. As directed by her doctor, the pop star then postponed two planned performances.

Attendees said there was no prior sign of a problem, and it all came as a shock to them. Smith clarified what transpired on their Instagram Story after announcing in advance that the event would feature a “surprise” and not close with their No. 1 song “Unholy.” The one unexpected event, though, was Smith’s quick departure.

“Dearest sailors, I don’t know what to say honestly. I fought off a virus a few weeks ago and since then we have travelled across Europe and had such incredible shows”. They wrote in a note reposted by the AO Arena, where the show took place. “Today in soundcheck I felt fine and was so excited to give Manchester an amazing show tonight, with a special surprise at the end.”

Smith began the performance with “Stay with Me” and “I’m Not the Only One” with exactly the vocal fervor that fans had anticipated. Smith claims they were aware of a problem during the third song, “Dancing with a Stranger,” at some time.

The Singer will resume their Polish leg of their 2023 tour at the Orange Warsaw Festival. They are also working on an unidentified project with Madonna. Below are all of Smith’s future tour dates.
